Hints and Tips
Mounting your TV Bracket
The most important thing that you have to before purchasing a TV wall bracket is to measure the wall to see if the Bracket fits onto the wall. Then mark out on the wall where you want the bottom of the TV to be positioned. Do it in pencil so you can erase it easily. You could also cut out a piece of paper or cardboard out that is the same size as your TV and measure out accordingly.
After marking out the size on the wall place the TV face down on a soft matt make sure there is nothing on the matt that will touch the screen, when you lay it down the LCD or plasma wont leak out this is not true its only a myth.
After you have done this you need to get the TV bracket out of the box, there is normally two main parts to them. They are the part that attaches to wall and the part that attaches to the TV. First screw the arms to back of TV while ensuring the top and the bottom of the arms are the same distance from the top and the bottom of the screen. Grab the LCD bracket and place it on the back of the arms and push hard up to the arms like it would be when attached to wall. Measure the distance of bottom of the TV wall mount to the bottom of the screen and then add another mark on the wall, this will give you the starting point of where to put the bracket.
Then using a spirit level of a laser lever mark out on the wall a line then place the bracket on this line and then pencil in the holes in the bracket that need to be drilled (these are the holes that are pre-drilled or pre-cut on the LCD bracket).

Tips on TV mount installation
Flat screen TVs are lighter than CRT TVs but this doesn’t mean that they are still not heavy. You have to make sure that you have properly secured your TV mount bracket to wall because it will fall off and this will result in huge costs. Makes sure all of your markings line up to your LCD bracket because this is essential when you are drilling. If you don’t get these holes right your bracket won’t go on straight, this can be overcome by using a level or laser level. This will ensure that when your TV is properly mounted it will be perfectly straight. After you have installed your TV you might want to run your cables through the wall but it is much easier to use a cable tidy, using this method saves time. It still looks very smart and modern.
